Larson Fine Imaging was started by Allan Larson of Littleton, Colorado. Allan is a retired petroleum geologist with a lifelong love for nature and animals. An avid conservationist and outdoorsman, his desire is to utilize the experiences he has captured from a life of travel and adventure to relay priceless images of the world we live in and of the fantastic organisms that share it with us.
Allan has a Bachelors Degree in Geology from Pennsylvania State University, as well as a Masters Degree and Doctorate in Geology from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a former Ducks Unlimited Area Chairman, former DU District Chairman (supervising the development of three Area Chapters) and currently serves on the Colorado DU State Committee. Also a zealous fly-fisherman, Allan has served as President of Front Range Fly Fishers and worked with Trout Unlimited in the Rocky Mountain area. Allan also served as Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout Troop for 3 years.
Doug Larson, Allan’s son, also helped launch Larson Fine Imaging. He enjoys being able to spend time and work with his father after toiling in the corporate sector for nearly ten years.
